IF has helped me have a better relationship with food :)


I just wanted to share this insight: having a specific eating window has improved my relationship with food!I used to struggle with a terrible cycle of restriction/binging/guilt. Every time I had a snack (cookie, pie, cake, chocolate bars... the good stuff) I felt terrible shame. Then I'd become afraid of the "bad" foods, severely restrict, give in, and repeat the cycle.Now that I have a specific eating window (I do 12-8), I make sure to give myself proper nutrients by eating 90% healthy food and I also let myself have a treat when I want, guilt free!I am noticing physical changes too, but the mental shift in how I eat has been the greatest result of IF for me.
