I’ve been watching a lot of Greg Doucette lately (IFBB Pro Bodybuilder) and he advocates eating white bread and smart pop popcorn as alternatives to “boring” carb sources such as white rice and oatmeal as they are similar nutritionally.

If you’re eating a balanced diet every day with plenty of fruits and veg and 180g’s of protein, is this solid advice?

Ie if you’re eating for example 3000 calories a day, is 400 calories from smart pop a good idea? It’s very high in fiber and low in fat. Sodium isn’t a concern for me.
