So as everyone knows it’s recommended to get 5 fruit or veg in a day. Like many people I struggle to do this. I’m not a huge fan of fruit (I’ve lived abroad and found that fruit tastes better outside my country but I’m home now and I no longer like the same fruits I did) and veg is so hard to eat on the go.

I would love to just put a banana, an apple, an orange, etc into a blender and just drink that throughout the day as my 5 a day but any articles I read online say this only counts as 1 of my 5 a day.

Why is this? If there is 5 portions of fruit why isn’t it 5?

Any tips on how to increase my fruit/veg intake would also be appreciated!
