Should I lose fat before building muscle?


SW: 185 GW: 140 CW: 175 Height: 5 foot 828FHi, I’ve lost some weight so far but want to speed things up… currently have fallen off the intermittent fasting game for some reason… currently aiming for a calorie deficit of 500/day and also am jogging I have quite a lot of fat to lose (10 pounds) before I want to build muscle as I don’t want to increase my appetite and end up going into a bulk by accident… should I try to continue losing weight before lifting weights?
