"Healing" benefits before 24hrs?

I've been IF for about a year and settled into a good maintenance routine, usually between 18:6 and 20:4. I know there are health benefits to ketosis and reduced insulin spikes, but my impression is that the "healing" of damaged cells doesn't happen until autophagy, which usually won't kick in until 24 hrs. Because of schedule and family life, it's difficult for me to even make it to 24 hours, much less beyond that. Am I completely missing out on this awesome benefit, or is there some cellular healing/"cleaning house" that occurs outside of autophagy? via /r/intermittentfasting https://ift.tt/b49GAXZ https://ift.tt/PhYFw81
