“Dirty fasting” makes it harder IMO
So I’ve been doing 36 hour fast so fasting Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays recently. I’ve been fasting on and off for about two years now, but it was always dirty fast where I would sometimes sip on broth or still have creamer on my coffee and things like that. Well I finally have been fasting. I guess you can call out the “correct way” drinking just black coffee non-calorie drinks, etc. but yesterday was supposed to be my eat day, but Christmas Day threw it off since that landed on a Wednesday. I attempted a fast I ended up drinking coffee with zero sugar creamer in the morning, but something about that really made me super hungry And very tempted throughout the day. I did end up caving and eating yesterday. It was so much harder because I had that coffee with a zero sugar creamer instead of it black. I’m fasting today and so far I’ve been just drinking water and the black coffee and the temptation is not at all an issue. So maybe there’s something to it when you’re fasting and really do not have any calories at all. In my case. It seems to make it significantly easier. Wanted to share this info.
