Concerned about my loss of appetite.

I started 16:8 a week ago and my appetite has been non-existent since. I’ve gone past 16 hours into 24 hours twice because I’m not feeling hunger or appetite. I have forced myself to eat something each time to break the fast before it exceeds 25 hours, but I feel like a child being told I can’t leave the table until I finish my vegetables.I don’t know if it’s my state of mind, but it feels like this is a bad thing. If I had waited instead of forcing myself to break my fast, would my hunger have inevitably returned? I’m sort of an anxious person, so any insight would be appreciated.
