Is my fasting meaningless ?


My routine all month is : I fast 40 hours , then at the end I eat 3700 calories , then go on another 40 hour fast , then eat another 3700 calories, then another fast etc . I do this cycle all month , and plan on doing it indefinitely until I reach my goal weight of 180 . Am I eating too many calories for this to help me lose weight ? I’m 34, 199 pounds man who walks about 2.3 miles, 5 days a week . Should I decrease my calorie to 2500 every 40 hours to be more effective?
