Smaller eating window but same amount of fasting hours?

Sorry if this is asked I couldn't find an answer in the FAQ. Basically would I get any results if I end my eating window earlier, but still fast for the same amount of hours or should my eating window always be whatever I'm aiming for (20:4) if I don't eat for the rest of the window? via /r/intermittentfasting https://ift.tt/L9708c2 https://ift.tt/zWaX5xN
