Next week marks one full year of IF and things continue to improve!

Here's my original post about menopausal IF and me.Menopausal, gained 30+lbs trying to get back to normal, etc. It's now been almost exactly one year since I started IF as a menopausal woman. I'm still at it.My blood work is amazing. My most recent blood pressure was 112/68. Morning fasting glucose is about 80.My weight is fabulous. I've lost 30lbs. 5'6.5" and 144lbs. I'm aiming for 5 more vanity lbs. I lost 20lbs in the first 6 months and 10lbs the last 6 monthsMy sleep apnea has improved so much I've had to adjust the pressures on the machine DOWN myself while I wait to see my doc. (Will ask for a new test in June).Over spring break (I'm a professor) I pulled out all my before menopause clothes and they all fit!! So I have a basically new wardrobe! The one thing I was bugged about was shorts. My "before" shorts technically fit, but they're shorter than I like at this age. My now shorts are just too big. Anyway, today I mentioned to my husband that I wanted to try on some shorts I bought for *me* a few years ago (men's medium golf shorts for the pockets (IFKYK)) that didn't fit and that I gave him. I figured if they fit and I could order them again. He brought them out and they fit me perfectly, so he gave them back! I ordered another pair. Great for travel, lots of zippered pockets that actually hold things. Anyway, just an almost one year update. I mostly do about 17:7, but sometimes a little longer. I still break my fast with a green smoothie: (Full fat plain yogurt (or firm tofu, or avocado), greens (spinach, kale, chard, or other), a seed mix: hemp seeds, chia seeds, and flax seeds, electrolytes, plain collagen, some berries, and water).I still eat a plant forward lower carb diet. I still work out. At this point I'm losing about 1lb a month and that's fine by me! via /r/intermittentfasting https://ift.tt/xyfc5SB https://ift.tt/rxzpi6t
