Fasting 4PM - 10AM. Do I miss the point?


I am 10 days into Intermittent Fasting and I started with 16-8 program which some times turns non-intentionally to 18-6. I am doing great and it is surprisingly easy and energetic for me. The way my daily schedule works makes convenient for me to fast between 4PM/6PM and 10AM. I wake up at 8.30-9.00 AM every day.After reading this ( https://ift.tt/2pPHazq ), I realized that this schedule might be wrong or just counter-productive. If the lipolysis starts at 12 hours and really yields results after 14 hours, I am actually very asleep at these moments. And probably I have only one awake hour of fasting state per day.Do I miss the point of IF?
