IF and Periods


Hello all!I've been doing a carb concious OMAD (not quite keto, but certainly cutting down on carbs during the meal) and for weight loss it's been great. I'm down a stone in weight and my skin's been clearing up. My brain fog is gone and in general I'm a lot happier. My bank balance is considerably healthier too so I don't particularly want to stop.My problem lies with cheat days. Me and my partner work with a 5:2 system, using the weekends as free eating, though even then we're quite tame compared to what we used to eat. The second we let up though, my menstrual cycle takes that as a signal to kickstart again and flood my system with hormones. Being grumpy and moody every weekend is less than fun and kills what should be a relaxing and chill time.Is this common?
