When fasting can you still build muscle if you don't consume protein after being active?


I have a very active job and after I'm done I typically have a protein shake or bar, it's not much of a problem when fasting except for when I work long shift days (upwards of 16 hours). So on those long work days, I can't have my added protein after I'm done due to my fasting schedule.
