Has a 24 hour fast been beneficial for you while also weight lifting?


I’m doing 8:16 working great for over 3 months with weight lifting and running 5/6 days a week. Plateau’d a little bit with the fat burning but I’ve put on some serious muscle (for me). I was thinking about doing a 24 hour fast on my rest day to see if that shakes things up but I’m terrified of missing protein goals. Any tips? Oh yeah I’m a dude 5’7” hovering at 175 trying to get down to a lean 160 original weight was 205.
