Got my blood work done and I'm THRILLED.

I'm 60, and menopausal. I was at a healthy BMI all my life but slid in to "overweight" after menopause. All my numbers (cholesterol, blood sugar, A1c, blood pressure) ticked up since menopause. Nothing worked. In May I started 16:8 fasting and a "plant forward" low carb diet. As of today I've lost 20lbs and I am no longer "overweight" by BMI standards. I'd like to lose 10 more pounds.Today I had my blood work done. My A1C improved and is NORMAL (down from 5.7 to 5.4). My glucose is NORMAL (down from 95 to 88). Estimated average glucose is NORMAL (down from 117 to 108). My total cholesterol improved. My LDL and trigs improved. (My HDL was already fine).I'm STOKED and will keep doing what I'm doing. yay. via /r/intermittentfasting https://ift.tt/lRf8zFv https://ift.tt/xG2eifj
