First week trying IF. Energy crashes in afternoon. Need more time??

Last 2 days I am almost unable to function I’m so tired in the afternoon. I fast from 8pm to 1pm. I try and eat high quality protein, etc. It feels like a blood sugar crash…. Mornings are also hard and have very low energy. Any advice? Is this normal?? I know I’ve only been going a week so I’m sure it takes time to regulate but want to see if this is normal.
