Not a huge change but finally hitting the gym for 2 weeks straight after 6 months off. I’ve been doing 16:8 and lifting. Do you think lifting and IF calorie deficit will hurt my progress?

I’m not as strong willed as most of you. I have no problem fasting for 18 hours but I have to fast for surgery tomorrow morning and I’m going on 24 hours without eating and I’m not enjoying life right now
