What is IF to you? I mostly hear two things.


Hey y’all been doing fasting for a few months now and I love it but I’ve read opposing thoughts on what it actually is. People say it’s not magic but idk nothing else worked for me in the past. The two things I hear are:IF works because it limits how much you can eat a day thus making you be in a calorie deficit and that’s it. 2.IF works regardless of what you eat as long as you stay in your hours because you essentially put your body in a keto state for a bit that burn the fat. While I agree that now I am eating less, I started eating the same thing I did before I followed the hours. I also notice that if it was just because a calorie deficit, why the hell do we care if we “break” the fast?
