Is alternate day fasting more efficient at burning fat?

I’m wanting to start x2 36 hour fasts per week (besides the week before my period) to lose 10kg. I am 38 hours into my first extended fast in a while (I was advised to eat breakfast first thing in the morning after quitting birth control to stabilise my hormones, but I only gained weight aka the weight I’m now trying to lose). I wonder how long I can expect to lose 10kg fasting this way, then eating in a 10-12 hour window on other days (to protect my hormones). I’d love to get down to my goal weight in 4 months ideally, but I’m not sure if that’s unrealistic.
