Doing 16:8 and doing three different sets at the gym most days and I cannot believe how much better I’m feeling

Hey all š just wanted to share a really positive note here after adopting IF and doing an incredibly simple gym routine.The first few days were a little strange to not eat after 6pm, but herbal tea REALLY helped with hunger. Now it feels like my body is used to it as this point, and every once in a while I will need food after 6 but very rarely - usually this happens when I eat more carbs during the day. I’ve found out that I really need to focus on protein like tofu and beans along with greens rather than things like rice and bread. An unintentional great thing about IF is that it puts me on an eating schedule without even realizing that I was. My eating in my window is not the same every day, but the first and last meal are almost always the same time because of that window. My hunger is WAY down - it’s really crazy to be so full on less food than I would otherwise eat. I can already tell I’m losing weight (I’m a big guy), and I’m incredibly excited to continue doing this routine without thinking about it much.
