what type of if should i do?

I used to do intermittent fasting everyday and I had one hour eating window . It worked really well until it stopped and it completely reversed even though I was still doing one hour eating window . I didn't change anything I ate . It just reversed . It's been a few years and now my doctor wants me to go back to it but I don't know what schedule would be best for me and neither does he .my stats50, f5'11", 280 I want to lose about 100 lb .
