Tips for a noob trying to Day 1 today?


It's 6am now in this part of the world.I'm about 5'4" and 98kg. Obese. I finally have the courage to want to do something about this.I've been reading articles and watching videos about IF for about 2 hrs now.For the past week, i unknowingly did 12:12 (12 hours fasting, 12 hrs eating?). It just happened that way.Im aiming to do 16:8. My planned schedule is 10am - 6pm.I would like to ask some questions:Is black coffee ok? (No milk, no sugar)Is hot and cold tea ok? (No milk, no sugar)Is coke zero or diet coke ok?I have meds that i take at morning. Do those break IF?I plan to not fast on the weekends, how does that work? I just eat when i feel it?If i stop on the weekend and get back on monday, where do i start counting?7.Considering today is day 1, im definitely sure that i will be struggling.
