What does everyone think about the Benjamin Zand method?


My dad swears by this and he’s lost a lot of weight with it. The method is:-5 days a week do 16:8-1 day a week do a 24hr fast-1 day a week eat normallyI think Zand claims that it keeps your metabolism changing rather than it getting used to fasting, longer fasting, and non-fasting What are everyone’s thoughts on this?
