Long term negative effects of OMAD

Hi All 👋I've been doing OMAD fasting for basically the past 12 years. I'm 34M, very fit/athletic - work out frequently and eat a very healthy diet.I've noticed that over time my energy levels, libido etc have kind of been chronically low and getting worse. Blood tests over those years show mostly everything within normal range including testosterone and thyroid. Cortisol has been elevated but that's one of the things that I expect to come with OMAD.After chatting with AI, it says keeping the body in a "starved" state for most of the day, everyday comes with some drawbacks that kind of rob my growth and reproductive pathways into my survival pathways. I've looked at a few studies to back this up and it seems legit. I've also noticed on the days I stretch the feeding window those symptoms tend to dissolve.Just wanted to ask if anyone here, especially the guys have had similar problems with OMAD and energy/libido levels and building muscle?I'm thinking of swapping OMAD for alternate day fasting so that the days in working out I get a full day's window of protein intake while the rest days I can spend in autophagy/cleanup mode. via /r/intermittentfasting https://ift.tt/zUqOQTe
